After a merger of two of the foremost background screening companies HireRight was poised to be a major force in the sector, a solutions provider for almost half of the Fortune 100. In order to fulfil the promise of this union and become the dominant global player, they needed help to align two disparate histories with different cultures and capabilities.
Leadership foresaw that a unified business brand meant more than just a complementary set of strengths and offerings. We helped them to think bigger, and embrace the potential of having a new company synonymous with a higher standard of expertise in vetting and hiring decisions. Vigorous collaborative sessions yielded a redefined mission: “Get it right, every time, everywhere.” This was the cue for a bold visual and verbal identity anchored by arresting spot-color red, a direct tone and a confident tagline “Driving a higher standard.”
The new, reimagined brand reflected a fundamentally stronger, more ambitious company. It was launched with intensive employee engagement and education, and was expressed consistently across videos, sales presentations, collateral, environmental displays, promotional items, digital presence and recruitment interfaces. More significantly, HireRight increased its market share to more than 40%.
